CAGD's flexible group system lets you structure your network to suit your courses. Anyone can create a group — whether it's a specific project, a handy way to communicate with a particular set of people, or a discussion forum based around a shared interest.

Simple Messaging

THe built-in messaging system is an easy way to keep in touch with everyone you need to. It's perfect or private, one-to-one conversations, and works just like an Instant Messenger client, with real-time updating for when you're having a conversation.

Calendar and Timetable

See what's going on in the courses and groups that you belong to, beaitfully set out in clear calendar pages. Easily create events and invite others to them with a simple drag and drop interface. Create appointments and events with a capacity limit that others can sign up to, and keep a track on who did and who didn't attend.

Uploading

Upload any file format you like. If it's a format CAGD understands — like images, audio and video — it'll get converted into a web friendly version, ready for embedding in portfolios and social media. If not then we'll store the original and create a preview image for it.

Folder Organisation

Structure your work in easy to use folders, whether it's for your own research or publishing, or to store course materials for your students.

Add labels or tags to your folders, ready to publish as employability metadata.

Feedback Journal

Built into CAGD is a dedicated blogging and journaling tool, that's completely private — visible only to each student and their academic staff. Use it to record progress over the length of the course, and to take notes from tutorials and seminars.

Anything that can be uploaded to CAGD can be added to the Journal, to add greater context and thoughts about particular pieces of work and development.
