I’m a young graphic designer with the interests of various subject matter such as: type, art directing, language and most importantly, the communication of culture. My influences have developed from my own Latin American culture and others. Isidro Ferrer and Fernando Gutierrez have impacted me radically in the way I perceive things and execute tasks.

My approach to graphic arts and design has changed dramatically over the past few years, due to the range of skills and knowledge I’ve acquired and developed. This is as a result of the resources I’ve had to mange, and the proficient organizational methods that I have developed to create and improve my work. As a designer I have a heightened awareness of what goes on around me, which has helped my understanding and guided the way I organize myself.

Analysing and paying close attention to detail has allowed me to understand the perception of my audience and how to change it. For example, we know the audience perception is key, and it’s the designer’s job to guide its audience and allow them to gain a deeper realization through visual aids thus educating them through design.

I’m determined to meet my goals and go beyond them in order to see myself working as a professional designer or having my own studio. I cannot foreground one area of my practice in particular because I’m still exploring all areas of graphic arts & design, which pushes my expectations, and boundaries even further. This allows me to experiment with my endeavours.
